Lori Nervina, ARNP is nationally recognized as a dual board certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. She earned masters of science and family nurse practitioner degrees from Syracuse University where in 2002, she was a recipient of the Sigma Theta Tau Nurse's Honor Society Research Award for her research in adolescent depression and suicide prevention. She then earned a post masters certificate as a Family Psychiatric Mental Health Practitioner from Binghamton University. She is an experienced clinician seeing children, adolescents and adults for psychiatric evaluations, medication management and psychotherapy.
Amy Lovett, LMHC attended the University of Kansas where she earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology. She completed her Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology from Avila University. Amy completed her internship and then worked as a psychotherapist with the Menninger Clinic before moving to Naples, FL. She has been in private practice since 2000 and sees children aged 14 and older as well as teens and adults. She is trained in individual, couples, marital and family therapy. She has volunteered with Avow Hospice of Naples and received extensive training with her dog Ginger through Golden PAWS assistance dogs. Her areas of specialization include anxiety and mood disorders as well as marital, peer and family relationships. She also works with families going through divorce, blended families and those dealing with parenting struggles.
Emily Williams, MD graduated from Duke University School of Medicine and completed her Psychiatry Residency and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at the University of South Carolina. Prior to completing medical school, she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from Davidson College as well as a Master of Public Health (MPH) from the University of Texas School of Public Health. Dr. Williams is Board Certified in Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and sees adults, adolescents and children for psychiatric evaluations, medication management and psychotherapy. She sees patients both in person and telehealth.
We are proud to have Ginger working in our office after completing extensive training to become a Golden PAWS certified therapy dog. She and Amy work as a certified therapy handler team.
Brent Lovett, MD graduated from the University of Kansas School of Medicine and completed his Psychiatry Residency and Child/Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at Kansas University Medical Center. He is Board Certified in Psychiatry as well as Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and has been practicing medicine for over 30 years. He has worked in a variety of settings including private practice, community mental health, administration as well as military medicine. He maintains a private psychiatry practice in Naples, Florida and sees children, adolescents and adults. In addition to seeing patients in his office, he also offers telehealth services for select patients using a secure video platform. He maintains active medical licenses in Florida, Missouri and Hawaii.
Margaret Forszpaniak, DO, was raised in Naples, FL and graduated from St. John Neumann High School. She earned her liberal arts degree in Biochemistry/Molecular Biology from Rollins College. Dr. Forszpaniak graduated from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her Adult Psychiatry Residency as well as her Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. She completed a second fellowship in Sleep Medicine at the University of Alabama, Birmingham. Dr. Forszpaniak enjoys treating a broad patient population with particular emphasis on sleep disorders as well as the area of women's health.
